To return or exchange an item, please follow our return policy as outlined
Note : Exceptions may be applicable to this return policy, such as oversized shipment, international shipments, fragile items, custom made items, rare items, etc. Any exceptions are described in the respective item descriptions and/or in the international order page.
First, you must obtain a Return Authorization Number by contacting
our office via email within
5 days of receiving your items.
After you notify us to request a Return Authorization Number you should
receive an email reply, with that number, normally within 24 hours.
Orders can be returned within 5 days of receipt. 10% restocking fee may apply on all returns. Actual shipping
cost incurred may not be refunded.
Due to the extreme seasonality of Halloween costume business, we do NOT accept
returns from October 15 through November 31, 2013. All orders are final
during this period. Costumes being returned must be postmarked no later
than October 14, 2013 to be eligible for credit.
All returned merchandise MUST be in its original,
new condition. Please look at the item carefully before opening the factory
sealed package until you are satisfied with your purchase.
Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited. Please
DO NOT return worn or used costumes.
We do not accept returns on items after 5 days of your receiving the original shipment. There are no refunds or exchanges on custom
All sales shipped outside the USA are FINAL. We do not give refunds
or allow exchanges on items shipped outside the USA.
It is the customer's responsibility to ship an item back to Costume
City for return or exchange. Please make sure when you are ordering that you have chosen the correct item, the correct
size and that your quantities are correct.
Shipping charges can only be refunded up to $7.00 if the return
is due to our error.
We recommend you ship your return items via FedEx or insured USPS Parcel
Post with "signature confirmation of delivery" for your protection.
We can not be liable for packages lost in transit.
After we have received your returned item, it may take up to one week
to process. If you purchased using a credit card or PayPal, refunds will be credited to the same credit card or PayPal account only.
If you purchased by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you.
Important! When you receive your package, DO NOT open the box with
a sharp object! Costume City will NOT accept returns on items that have
been cut with a knife while opening the box.
